General Information: Doktor Doom 90-Day Mosquito Larva Killer prevents the emergence of adult mosquitos (excluding Mansonia spp. and Coquillettida spp.) from standing bodies of water containing 100 litres or more of water by preventing the development of their aquatic immature life-stages. Doktor Doom 90-Day Mosquito Larva Killer affects developing immature stages of mosquitoes by disrupting the molting process. Consequently, adult mosquitos and beneficial species are not affected by Doktor Doom 90-Day Mosquito Larva Killer. For best results, read all directions and recommendations thoroughly.

Directions for use: READ ALL DIRECTIONS COMPLETELY BEFORE USE.

Doktor Doom 90-Day Mosquito Larva Killer is formulated into briquets which disintegrate and release novaluron into the standing body of water to control mosquito larvae (excluding Mansonia spp. and Coquillettida spp.) for up to 90 days. The period for control of mosquito larvae may be reduced in areas of high water turnover or high organic matter content.

Application Sites: Doktor Doom 90-Day Mosquito Larva Killer may only be applied to sites which do not drain into natural water bodies. DO NOT apply this product to permanent natural water bodies such as lakes, rivers, streams, creeks, dugouts, or ponds as these may contain sensitive aquatic invertebrates. DO NOT apply this product to any water that is designed to flow beyond your property limits (for example, ditches, drains/drainage areas, rain gutters or catch basin sumps that flow into weeping tile beds or municipal storm drain systems). BEFORE APPLYING THIS PRODUCT to a water body where there is a possibility of outflow beyond your property limits, contact your provincial/territorial regulatory authority as a permit may be required. To help prevent mosquito infestations on your property, get rid of mosquito breeding sites. Do this by emptying, flushing or draining containers and standing water wherever practical, at least weekly or more frequently if mosquito larvae are present. For example, remove leaf litter from rain gutters, drill holes in bottoms of tire swings or discarded tires, empty water collected on pool covers, turn over wheelbarrows and other containers, empty trapped water from recycling bins or trash containers, cover rain barrels with fly screen netting, replace water in bird baths and chlorinated swimming pools.

Application Rates: See product packaging

Timing: Doktor Doom 90-Day Mosquito Larva Killer affects larval stages of mosquitos only, so begin treatment at the beginning of the mosquito breeding season in spring. To detect the presence of mosquito larvae, look closely for larvae moving in an "S" pattern at the water surface. Doktor Doom 90-Day Mosquito Larva Killer provides up to 90 days of mosquito larva control in sites with limited turnover of water. Re-treat every 9 days if mosquito larvae are still present. The retreatment interval may be shorter in areas of high water turnover or in areas with high organic matter. Treatments may continue until the last mosquito brood of the season as dictated by monitoring.

Application Method: Apply to the specified application sites by hand, since the product is not suitable for dispersal through any equipment.
