Feed free choice to chicks from six weeks to 12 weeks of age. This feed can safely be fed to older growing birds. Fresh, clean water is the most important nutrient. Provide fresh water at all times. This ration does not meet the requirements of broiler chicks. An increased level of protein and vitamins is required. Feed Hi-Pro Turkey and Game Bird Starter to this type of chick. It is not recommended that this feed be fed to laying birds because the calcium levels are below requirements—Feed Hi-Pro Layer Ration to laying hens.
