To protect the area between the shoulder blades and neck, the suit features a longer, soft, and elastic band with loops for attaching a collar, making it more difficult for the cat to remove the suit. Soft bands around the legs and tail prevent chafing and pressure points.
The Recovery Suit® should fit like a second skin—not too tight, but certainly not too loose! A proper fit ensures your cat cannot reach sensitive areas. Measure your cat from the neck to the base of the tail and check the size chart to find the right fit. If your cat falls between two sizes, always choose the smaller one. Also, consider your cat's amount of hair and body shape for the best fit.
